Accountabilities
  • Oversee the administration, scheduling, staffing, reporting, invoicing, and receivables processes associated with F&I Account Specialist assignments.
  • Lead, onboard, coach, and develop Account Specialists, monitoring performance through checklists, audits, one-on-one meetings, field kickoffs, and onsite inspections.
  • Ensure new District Managers receive a structured 30-day ride and orientation, coordinating with Regional Managers and maintaining completion and certification of required activities.
  • Support the development and delivery of District Manager training programs in partnership with training and development leadership.
  • Conduct ride-alongs and performance evaluations for District Managers, providing actionable feedback and coaching to improve effectiveness and consistency.
  • Oversee people-management responsibilities and promote consistent processes and service standards across the field organization.
  • Drive business development and fee generation through performance assessments and effective field execution.
  • Collaborate with field development and training leadership to continuously improve onboarding materials, checklists, training programs, and operational processes.
  • Track and report on specialist and field performance, staffing levels, revenue, assignments, and other key operational metrics.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, dealership clients, and field teams while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of retail automotive dealership operations, with 4+ years of District Manager or comparable leadership experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, management, and customer service, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of retail automotive management, with 5+ years of dealership management experience strongly preferred.
  • Current state licensing for your home state, or the ability to obtain the required licensing.
  • AFIP and/or A.C.E. certification preferred or required according to applicable role expectations.
  • Experience in automotive retail sales, F&I, Account Specialist functions, or nationwide F&I operations is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify issues, compare information from multiple sources, and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust quickly and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others through timely feedback, guidance, and performance support.
  • Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to evaluate alternatives and make decisions based on facts, business constraints, and organizational priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly mobile, field-oriented environment and travel approximately 65% of the time.
  • Must reside within approximately 45 minutes of a major airport; candidates based in Arizona or Colorado are strongly preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range of $103,800–$173,300, with actual compensation based on experience, qualifications, background, and work location.
  • Remote/virtual work environment with extensive field engagement.
  • Opportunity to lead and develop automotive professionals across a broad field organization.
  • High-impact leadership position combining coaching, operations, business development, and customer engagement.
  • Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional training and development initiatives.
  • Opportunities to contribute to process improvement, team development, and business growth.
  • Benefits eligibility and additional rewards may be available according to the applicable employment package and location.
