This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Lead Business Integration Analyst (SAP CO) based in India.
This is a senior SAP functional leadership opportunity focused on delivering business-critical solutions across SAP Controlling and Project Systems. You will work closely with global business stakeholders, technology teams, and customers to translate complex requirements into scalable SAP solutions. The role combines functional expertise, solution design, implementation leadership, integration, and continuous process improvement. You will contribute to large, medium, and small-scale transformation initiatives while supporting critical financial and operational processes. The position provides exposure to S/4HANA transformation, complex manufacturing environments, and highly integrated enterprise systems. You will also have the opportunity to mentor SAP professionals and influence solutions within a globally distributed, collaborative technology organization.
- Partner with business stakeholders and industry experts to understand complex requirements and translate them into effective SAP CO and PS solutions.
- Lead the delivery of SAP projects, enhancements, implementations, and production-support initiatives across different scales and business functions.
- Design, configure, implement, test, and support SAP Controlling solutions covering Cost Center Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Material Ledger.
- Design and configure SAP Project Systems solutions supporting manufacturing, capitalization, and service-related business processes.
- Analyze business and technical challenges, develop solution strategies, and drive continuous process and system improvements.
- Support financial month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation and maintenance of Financial Closing Cockpit processes.
- Lead and support FI/CO cutover activities and coordinate integrations across FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP.
- Act as a functional consultant throughout requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with ABAP developers, interface teams, security, compliance, infrastructure, and project management teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and customers, including middle-management audiences, while driving consensus across functions.
- Provide end-user training, coaching, and ongoing support while helping develop internal and external SAP resources.
- Contribute to SAP solution architecture, best-practice adoption, and modernization initiatives, including S/4HANA transformation.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant industry standards, SAP capabilities, emerging technologies, and evolving business requirements.
- Take ownership of customer-focused solutions and help ensure successful delivery of complex global transformation initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience implementing and supporting SAP CO and SAP PS across multiple projects and business environments.
- Deep knowledge of SAP CO functionality, including Cost Center Accounting, Cost Element Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Material Ledger.
- Strong experience with SAP Project Systems, particularly in manufacturing, capitalization, and service-related processes.
- Proven experience across SAP configuration, development coordination, testing, implementation, enhancements, and production support.
- Strong understanding of SAP functional processes and cross-functional integration, including FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-PP.
- Hands-on experience supporting FI/CO cutover activities and financial month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Experience working with ABAP and interface-development teams to deliver integrated SAP solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements and convert them into practical, scalable solutions.
- Experience completing at least 1–2 full SAP implementation lifecycles, preferably in customer-facing or consulting environments.
- Strong stakeholder-management, communication, consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A bachelor's degree in STEM, Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Typically, 6+ years of relevant experience with a university degree, or 3+ years with an advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion, solution architecture, aerospace, manufacturing, or other complex industrial environments is preferred.
- Experience working with global teams and international customers, leading SAP workstreams, or mentoring junior professionals is an advantage.
- SAP CO, SAP PS, or S/4HANA certifications are desirable.
