We’re looking for a General Manager who knows how to lead the front of house and kitchen, build high-performing teams, and drive results. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and understands that great restaurants are built on great people, disciplined operations, and an extraordinary guest experience.

Our locations include Ada’s on the River, Barca Pier & Wine Bar, Café Tu Tu Tango, Mia’s Italian Kitchen, Palette 22, Theismann’s, The Royal, and Vola’s Dockside Grill & Hi-Tide Lounge.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead with purpose — Build, coach, and retain a strong team that delivers consistent results and reflects the restaurant’s culture.
  • Own the guest experience — Set the standard for hospitality, service, quality, and speed while creating memorable experiences.
  • Lead through action — Be visible, hands-on, and engaged with both guests and team members throughout every shift
  • Think like an owner — Identify opportunities, solve problems, control costs, and make decisions that strengthen the business.
    • Build team culture — Foster an environment where people feel valued, challenged, supported, and motivated to perform at their best.
      • Own Consistency — Uphold food safety, sanitation, service, quality, and company standards every day.
        • Create accountability — Set clear expectations, follow through, recognize great performance, and address opportunities quickly and consistently.
          • Develop future leaders — Identify talent, provide meaningful coaching, and create clear pathways for team members to grow.
            • Run great shifts — Maintain strong operational execution, prioritize effectively, and keep the team focused in a high-volume environment.
              • Drive performance — Use sales, labor, food cost, and other key metrics to make smart business decisions and improve profitability.
                Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Qualifications -
                • 5+ years of General Manager experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant environment.
                • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while building a strong culture of accountability.
                • A track record of building strong teams, improving performance, and driving profitable growth.
                • Ability to analyze business trends and performance data and translate insights into actionable plans.
                  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable owning the business while remaining hands-on with the team and operation.
                    • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, compliance, and restaurant operational standards.
                      • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, hold others accountable, and lead by example.
                        • Proven ability to identify problems, make sound business decisions, and turn opportunities into measurable results.
                          • Strong understanding of guest experience, service standards, food quality, and hospitality excellence.
                            • Skilled at recruiting, training, developing, and retaining top talent across both hourly and management teams.
                              • Strong operational skills with the ability to lead high-volume shifts, prioritize effectively, and maintain consistent standards under pressure.
                                • Demonstrated success managing sales, labor, food cost, profitability, and other key restaurant performance metrics.
