Responsibilities
Financial Services Wholesalers (FSWs) play an important role in supporting registered agents and sales leaders by meeting customers’ financial services needs and helping achieve growth goals. Our Internal Wholesaler Managers lead and guide these wholesalers to drive growth across the financial services industry.
Our Internal Wholesaler Managers:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Internal Wholesalers through effective performance management and ongoing professional development.
- Serve as a Financial Services subject matter expert on State Farm and alliance partner products, sales practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive sales execution and operational excellence by prioritizing work, managing resources, and monitoring key performance metrics.2
- Build strong partnerships across Agency, Financial Services, Operations, Compliance, and leadership to support alignment and business results.
- Analyze business trends and field feedback to identify opportunities, resolve complex issues, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, licensing requirements, regulatory expectations, and quality standards while fostering a culture of accountability.
- Lead strategic initiatives and change efforts through effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder influence.

Licensing Requirements: Selected candidates are required to possess a Series 6, Series 63 and Series 65 or equivalent license at the start of their employment
Selected candidates will be required to obtain and/or possess a Series 26 license within 100 days of their start date. If unsuccessful, employment may be terminated
Additional Details:
• Fingerprint, credit check and background check are required for sponsorship of FINRA licensing
• Employees must successfully obtain all other applicable licensing and certifications for role including, but not limited to, LTC Certification, Annuities Certification and potential state securities licensing, as applicable
• Employees may be required to sign the Acknowledgement of Policy on Personal Account Transactions
• May be required to work flexible, non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs and workload
• May require periodic travel
• Requirements subject to change at State Farm discretion based on a business need
Securities Licensing
This position requires you to obtain/maintain all applicable FINRA licensing exams (Securities Industry Essentials, Series 6, Series 63, and Series 65 or equivalent), sponsorship from State Farm VP Management Corp (SFVPMC) and State Farm Investment Management Corp. (SFIMC), and that you become registered and remain in good standing as required by SFVPMC, SFIMC and FINRA. To confirm eligibility for sponsorship, you will complete fingerprinting and a credit check. This is in addition to the pre-employment background check. You will be required to sign a Securities and Registration Agreement upon hire.
HYBRID: Qualified candidates (in or near hub locations listed below) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.
Current in-office expectations: 8-10 days a month.

Our Benefits
Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
Potential starting salary range: $137,000 - $180,000
• Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
• High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
• Potential yearly incentive pay up to 24% of base salary
Work Arrangement:
REMOTE: Qualified candidates (outside of hub locations listed below) may be considered for remote work arrangements based on where a candidate currently resides or is currently located.
