Housekeeper- Lake Forest, IL in Lake Forest, Illinois at The Calendar Group

A private family in Lake Forest, Illinois is seeking an experienced, reliable housekeeper to care for their 5,000-square-foot home. The ideal candidate will have strong housekeeping skills, excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable assisting with errands and occasional driving for the principals. The family is open to hiring two housekeepers to provide weekday and weekend coverage. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the 5,000-square-foot home

• Perform daily housekeeping, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry

• Assist with household organization and general upkeep

• Run household errands

• Drive for the principals on occasion

• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of service

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Reliable, responsible, and professional

• Ability to work independently and as part of a household team

• Comfortable with driving and running errands

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Must be comfortable working around one family dog

Salary: $35–$45 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
