This is a results-driven sales role focused on growing commercial adoption across mid-market and enterprise customers.
You’ll build relationships with strategic accounts, identify opportunities, and guide prospects through the full B2B technology sales cycle.
The role combines prospecting, discovery, qualification, account expansion, negotiation, forecasting, and closing.
You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring customer insights into product and marketing initiatives.
The environment is remote-first, collaborative, and performance-oriented, with structured onboarding and ongoing development.
Success requires strong commercial judgment, technical curiosity, disciplined pipeline management, and a customer-focused approach.
- Engage prospects to generate interest in commercial technology products and create qualified sales opportunities.
- Meet with existing customers to identify opportunities for account expansion through additional products and services.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, including qualified opportunities sourced and closed business.
- Accurately forecast pipeline and business performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Drive growth and adoption across the existing customer and user base.
- Identify customers whose usage patterns indicate potential interest in commercial offerings and maintain active engagement with them.
- Respond to, qualify, and follow up on inbound inquiries and potential opportunities.
- Deliver valuable and professional interactions at every prospect and customer touchpoint.
- Manage the full B2B sales process, including pre-call planning, discovery, qualification, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
- Build targeted prospecting lists, identify key decision-makers, and engage accounts through calls, email, social media, and other channels.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline hygiene, account information, and sales activity.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate customer feedback, contribute to product roadmap insights, and support effective marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to team development, knowledge sharing, and peer mentoring.
- Progress toward independently managing a territory and delivering renewals, upsells, and new business.
- 2+ years of sales experience selling to mid-market and/or enterprise customers.
- Experience selling technical products to developer, engineering, or other technical audiences is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales results.
- Experience working with technical products or strong aptitude for quickly learning complex technical concepts.
- Experience with open-source software business models is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of B2B technology sales processes, including opportunity qualification, objection handling, and closing.
- Ability to structure, control, and lead customer and prospect conversations effectively.
- Strong prospecting, account management, pipeline development, and forecasting skills.
- High integrity, ownership, and team-first mentality.
- Positive and professional communication style, with excellent listening, phone, and written communication skills.
- Sales training and Salesforce experience are a plus.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain consistent performance in a remote environment.

- CA$147,000–CA$210,000 OTE + equity for Canada-based candidates.
