Job Description

Job Title: Applinx Web Developer
Location: Jackson, MS (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Interview Process: Video Or in Person

We are looking for an experienced ApplinX Web Developer / Java Developer to support the maintenance and modernization of legacy applications using Software AG ApplinX.

Key Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Java development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with ApplinX, preferably Version 11+
  • Experience with JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and CSS
  • Strong experience with Adabas
  • Experience with RHEL/Linux
  • Knowledge of SOAP/REST web services
  • Experience with QA/testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements
  • Knowledge of Agile development; Jira is a plus
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • SQL Server experience is preferred

The consultant will maintain and enhance ApplinX web applications, support testing and implementation, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with client staff, and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team.
