Job Summary
The Parts Specialist coordinates the ordering, receiving, verification, organization, and distribution of parts needed for collision repairs. This role supports technicians and estimators by ensuring parts are accurate, properly documented, and available when needed while managing returns, credits, and pricing. The Parts Specialist also assists with repair-order administration and helps maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the repair process.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Receive, inspect, label, and organize parts by repair order and vehicle.
Order or reorder damaged, incorrect, missing, or supplemental parts.
Process parts returns, credits, and related vendor documentation.
Verify parts are complete and correct before vehicles enter or complete repair stages.
Post and verify parts invoices and pricing in the management system.
Communicate parts status, backorders, and delivery changes to estimators and production teammates.
Support customer-service or scheduling activities as assigned.
Assist with written repair appraisals for fleet or dealership vehicles when trained and authorized.
Maintain an organized parts area and accurate records.

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of automotive or collision repair parts experience required.
Previous experience in a collision repair center, body shop, dealership parts department, or comparable automotive parts environment required.
Working knowledge of automotive parts identification, ordering, receiving, returns, credits, and invoice posting.
Experience with CCC ONE or comparable collision management software preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with vendors and internal repair teams.
Organized, process-driven, and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple repair orders.
Demonstrated commitment to continued learning and teamwork.
