Your Role as a Supervisee in Social Work

As a Supervisee in Social Work (MST), you’ll work with youth and families to identify challenges and implement sustainable change strategies at home and in the community. You’ll:

• Provide therapy using the MST model — with a focus on family systems, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and behavior change
• Engage caregivers, schools, community supports, and legal systems in treatment
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Participate in weekly case planning and professional development
• Be part of a rotation providing 24/7 crisis support (shared across the team)
• A chance to make a real impact by helping youth aged 11–17 overcome serious behavioral challenges

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Driver’s license with 1+ years of driving experience.
• Experience using pragmatic family therapies, cognitive-behavioral techniques and/or couples therapy using behaviorally based approaches
• Previous work providing in-home or community-based therapy services.
• Experience in implementation of interventions within or between systems in the youth’s natural ecology (I.e., family, peer, school and neighborhood).
