Exploring Graphics is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator to join our production team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of machines used in the production of high-quality graphics and signage. This role requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

• Operate, monitor, and maintain machines such as large-format printers, cutters (e.g., Zund), laminators, and other graphic production equipment.

• Set up machines for specific production runs, ensuring correct materials, settings, and quality standards.

• Perform routine inspections to verify quality, accuracy, and consistency of output.

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or process issues to minimize downtime.

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Assist with inventory of raw materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.

• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and deliver projects according to specifications.

• Document production activities, including machine logs, quality checks, and maintenance records.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

• Previous experience operating production machinery, preferably in the graphics, printing, or manufacturing industry.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic machine troubleshooting.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Basic computer skills for operating machine software and recording production data.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• The role is based in a fast-paced production facility with frequent exposure to noise, fumes, and machinery.

• Safety equipment (e.g., gloves, safety glasses, ear protection) must be worn as required.
