The Universal Banker is responsible for providing superior customer service by accurately processing transactions, recognizing client needs, and recommending appropriate products and services. This position also opens, maintains, and closes all types of deposit accounts and related transactions in an efficient and compliant manner.

• Open new accounts for customers; prepare and process new account paperwork, applications, and required identification.
• Identify the needs of new and existing customers and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Provide customers with information regarding current promotions, contests, and new account options.
• Participate in community awareness and outreach events to promote the bank and foster new business opportunities.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns related to checking, savings, and other deposit accounts.
• Proactively identify and communicate account status deficiencies and disputed transactions to customers and provide options for resolution.
• Process overdrafts, chargebacks, and various back-office items related to Deposit Operations.
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional certificate or associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of deposit operations or related banking experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and concisely.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to use time and resources efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate common customer concerns and recommend improvements to procedures and processes.
• Proven experience in personal organization and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness, with a focus on identifying and correcting banking errors.
• Ability to clearly and concisely express written concepts and accurately complete required banking forms and documentation.
• Demonstrated initiative in seeking to improve and develop new processes and ideas related to daily banking tasks.

• Pay range: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
