π What You'll DoAs our Medical Records Assistant, you'll play an important role in keeping patient care running smoothly by:
β Processing medical record requests accurately and securely
β Maintaining patient records within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
β Responding to requests from providers, hospitals, insurance companies, and authorized third parties
β Retrieving archived medical records when needed
β Supporting quality improvement initiatives
β Assisting patient outreach efforts
β Collaborating with providers and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care
β Maintaining medical records supplies and office equipment
β Helping wherever needed to support the success of the team
π― What We're Looking ForRequired Qualificationsβ High School Diploma or equivalent
β Strong attention to detail
β Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
β Basic computer and keyboarding skills
β Outstanding communication and customer service abilities
Bonus Points If You Haveβ Previous healthcare or medical office experience
β Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
