Medical Office Assistant in Hickory, North Carolina at Catawba Valley Healthcare

Catawba Valley Healthcare, located in Hickory NC, provides integrated care to clients including primary medical care, outpatient counseling, psychiatric medication management, mobile crisis, ACTT, Peer services, residential and services in the jails. The agency seeks a medical assistant to work primarily back office in the medical area in our Hickory, NC clinic .

This position will work closely with the prescribers through assisting them in completion of tasks, review of notes, assisting patients with telehealth system etc...

The applicant must be willing to work in a team environment, communicate well with patients, able to multi-task, and be competent in both front and back office functions as needed.

Experience with Prior Authorizations, Order Entry, Injections, Phlebotomy, Intake, Medication Refills, and Scribe.
