As a Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise in fall prevention, optimize physical movement and independence, provide comprehensive DME (Durable Medical Equipment) recommendations, and serve as an integral member of our interdisciplinary team. Practice in an innovative model of care that provides comprehensive, all-inclusive services to older adults while utilizing our state-of-the-art therapy gym and equipment.
Education & Licensure- Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by:
- The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the APTA
- Or another equivalent organization approved by the Secretary
- Current North Carolina Physical Therapy License required
- Current CPR Certification required (will provide)
- Minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population required
- Experience preferred in one or more of the following settings:
- Outpatient Rehabilitation
- Home Health
- Acute Care/Hospital
- Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing
- Advanced clinical training and specialty certifications are highly desired
