Job Description

General Job Description
Leads all aspects of assigned campuses’ operations, creation of culture, and achievement of strategic plans objectives.

Responsibilities/Functions:

-Demonstrate strong commitment to the Crossing’s mission, strategic plan, and students.
-Actively model a lifestyle consistent with the Crossing’s core values.
-Represent the Crossing and campus to students, families, staff and the community.
-Shepherd staff and students to ensure the campus culture reflects the Crossing vision and mission statements with a focus on healthy character programming including: Heartcheck, Family Time, God Talk, Family Night, Mentorship,
Staff/Student Engagement and Discipleship.
-Actively participate and model student engagement and mentorship in and outside of school hours.
-Lead Family Time weekly
-Lead and participate in Spiritual Retreats and Family Nights - both a minimum of once a semester.
-Lead and participate in campus activities regularly
-Ensure full implementation of the Crossing National Model on campus and work towards Best Practices. Provide leadership and training when necessary (i.e. demonstrate home visits, access local resources, etc.)
-Ensure all new staff successfully complete the onboarding process and receive all necessary training.
-Work with all CPIs to develop and implement growth plans
-Work with Regional Director to develop and implement strategic plan for the region
-Utilize Layered Reviews and Site Audits for site performance and accountability
-Provide Data-Driven accountability for performance of locations including:
-Monitor all data dashboards daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly and respond with short and long term celebratory and corrective strategies.
-Be on campus and in classrooms working with students, not in office or out of the building, unless scheduled and clearly communicated with team and leadership. Site Leader should be on campus approx. 90% of the time unless otherwise directed by leadership.
-When necessary assume a Student of Record (SOR) load to meet staffing ratios.
-Ensure retention of students by ensuring Career Pathway Instructors utilize all tools at his/her disposal (See CPI Job Description for more details)
-Assist Regional Coordinator in development to secure Business Partnership programming that is aligned to Crossing National Model.

Community Liaison

-Foster and maintain community resources which benefit student population.

-Be knowledgeable and active in community resources.

-Work with Coordinator to organize and attend external community events to increase Crossing exposure and resource possibilities.

-Work alongside Regional Coordinator to develop and maintain strong business and school partnership programming and communications

-Participate in Fundraising Initiatives

-DAD Program - utilize your personal and professional network to gain donors and Crossing supporters

-Banquets - work with Regional Coordinator on banquet planning details and preparing students for banquet responsibilities

-Oversee Campus behavior management utilizing all resources available.

-Provide Data Driven accountability for academic and WBL performance including credits and certificates earned and ensure alignment of all Campus and Faith-Based Mentoring programming to district Best Practices.

-Realization of standardized testing pass rate goals.

-Communicate effectively with public school partners per the direction of the Regional Coordinator.

-Formally evaluate staff under your direct leadership, per direction of Regional Coordinator, 2x per year

-Manage recruitment and enrollment processes for eligible students

-Manage safety compliance and drills (intruder, fire and storm) for the campus

-Work with Grant Administrator and Finance to ensure grant writing, reporting, and spending of grant funds are appropriate

-Other duties as assigned by Direct and/or Indirect report.
