Crawlspace Encapsulation Technician for Lenoir and Surrounding Area

Turn damp, neglected crawlspaces into clean, dry spaces that protect customers’ homes. A-1 Termite & Pest Control is hiring a full-time Crawlspace Encapsulation Technician in Lenoir, NC, serving the surrounding area. You’ll earn $17–$21 per hour, receive paid hands-on training, and have a clear opportunity to advance into a Lead role. Construction experience is helpful, but we’ll train a reliable candidate who is comfortable with demanding physical work in confined spaces.

Location: Lenoir, NC

Compensation: $17 to $21 per hour DOE

Overtime: Some Saturdays during peak season

Benefits: Health, dental, vision, $10,000 in company-paid life insurance; paid holidays; and up to two weeks of accrued PTO

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM

A-1 Termite & Pest Control is looking for a hardworking, detail-driven Crawlspace Encapsulation Technician to join our growing Crawlspace Division. If you take pride in doing physical work the right way and want to see the finished result of your effort every single day, this is your kind of job.

What You'll Do

• Install vapor barriers, liners, and encapsulation systems in residential and commercial crawlspaces.
• Set up moisture control equipment including dehumidifiers, sump pumps, and drainage systems.
• Seal foundation vents, insulate rim joists, and correct airflow and humidity issues.
• Address moisture, wood-destroying organism damage, and standing-water conditions.
• Perform structural repairs such as sub-floor and support work as needed.
• Keep job sites clean, stay on schedule, and leave every crawlspace better than you found it.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners and your crew lead.

What We're Looking For

• Strong work ethic and reliability — you show up on time, ready to work.
• Comfortable working in tight, low-clearance spaces and in varying temperatures.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn our systems and standards.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, kneel, crawl, and work on your hands and knees for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and able to maintain a neat, customer-ready appearance and follow the company dress code.
• Prior crawlspace, construction, insulation, waterproofing, or pest control experience is a plus — but we will train the right person.
