Purpose:

The Hearings Operations Specialist II will be responsible for mail intake, calendaring and coordinating hearings with local and opposing counsel, and updating hearings results in our and our clients’ Case Management systems.

  • Receive and review all incoming Hearings mail
  • Schedule Hearings within the 67 Florida counties, adhering to judicial requirements
  • Calendar Hearings in Case Management system and maintain Hearings calendar up to date
  • Prepare Notices of Hearing, Notices of Cancellations and Notices of Appearance
  • Prepare Hearing Packages for attorneys
  • Update our and our clients’ Case Management systems with Hearings information and results
  • E-file and serve Hearings pleadings and orders
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in the legal field; Florida foreclosure experience preferred
  • Ability to read a docket and prepare a service list
  • LPS, Vendorscape, Real Resolution, Lenstar, Clarifier and PACER experience highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
