Job Description

SUMMARY:

This position manages the project team demonstrating leadership qualities while creating a team atmosphere.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conducts regular status meetings with project team
  2. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing onto the client
  3. Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
  4. Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
  5. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  6. Communicates difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  7. Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization
  8. Makes decisions with the complete understanding of the company's basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections
  9. Calculates cost projections based on the company's pricing model and billing procedures
  10. Completes and signs project legal documents in a timely fashion
  11. Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project
  12. Leads proposal efforts including completing project scoping and LOE assessments
  13. Effectively conveys the customer's custom needs in both written and verbal business development discussions
  14. Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
  15. Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements
  16. Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design
  17. Possesses a thorough understanding of our product's capabilities
  18. Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor
  19. Manages the development of team by ensuring, when possible, that project tasks are in line with each Innovator's career interests. Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence
  20. Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
  21. Manages the process of innovative change effectively
  22. Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions
  23. Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential

  33. Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  34. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  35. Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives
  36. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  37. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  38. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  39. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  40. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
  41. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  42. Minimizes our exposure and risk on projects
  43. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  44. Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
  45. Manages project budget
  46. Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project
  47. Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
  48. Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization
  49. Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors those with less experience

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree
  • PMI certified
  • Project management experience
  • Attention to detail
