This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Associate, Corporate Development & Strategy based in the United States.
This role is central to delivering seamless integrations for newly acquired firms joining a growing wealth management organization.
You’ll lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning technology, operations, processes, and client data.
Working as the primary point of contact for acquired-firm stakeholders, you’ll build trusted relationships and guide teams through change.
You’ll oversee technology migrations and operational transitions across billing, trading, reconciliation, and client reporting.
The position combines strategic project management with hands-on execution, problem-solving, training, and change management.
You’ll use KPIs and structured project plans to monitor adoption, identify risks, and continuously improve integration outcomes.

- Build and maintain trusted relationships with newly acquired firms through proactive communication, clear expectations, and consistent stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and manage comprehensive integration plans covering technology, operational processes, policies, timelines, dependencies, and key milestones.
- Lead technology migrations, particularly platforms supporting operations, trading, client reporting, and portfolio management.
- Coordinate the transition of critical operational functions, including billing, trading, reconciliation, and client portfolio management data.
- Partner with internal teams and senior stakeholders throughout the acquisition and integration lifecycle to ensure smooth execution and timely issue resolution.
- Design and deliver training for employees from acquired firms, helping them adopt new systems, workflows, and processes effectively.
- Monitor integration progress, user adoption, and overall success through relevant KPIs, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Identify potential integration risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and maintain momentum.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including plans, timelines, status reports, decisions, and stakeholder updates.
- Serve as the central coordination point for acquired-firm stakeholders while identifying opportunities to improve integration processes and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- 2–5 years of experience in financial services is preferred, particularly within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) environment.
- 2–5 years of experience working with Orion or a comparable Portfolio Management System (PMS) is preferred.
- Working knowledge of financial systems and processes related to trading, reconciliation, billing, and client reporting.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to anticipate challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and engage confidently with senior leadership.
- Adaptability, initiative, and a continuous-improvement mindset, particularly in fast-changing environments.
- PMP certification or other formal project management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant technology platforms and operational processes within wealth management is preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
- Competitive compensation: Estimated salary range of $47,000–$104,000, with eligibility for performance-based bonus compensation.
