Nurse Technician in Sequim, Washington at Cascadia EE LLC

The Nurse Technician supports the nursing team in providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents while gaining valuable clinical experience. This role assists with activities of daily living, takes and records vital signs, supports resident comfort and safety, and performs other patient care duties under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily care needs, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Take and document vital signs and report changes or concerns to nursing staff.
• Support nurses with routine resident care and clinical tasks within the Nurse Technician’s permitted scope.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Provide respectful, compassionate care while protecting resident dignity and privacy.
• Follow facility policies, infection prevention practices, and applicable scope-of-practice requirements.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an approved nursing program, if required for Nurse Technician status in the applicable state.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working directly with residents.
