Greenawalt Hospitality provides event production and hospitality services for live experiences throughout the country, from concerts and festivals to sporting events, premium hospitality programs, and major special events. Delivering these experiences successfully requires a dependable team that can plan ahead, adapt quickly, and execute with precision.

As a Production Manager, you'll help turn event plans into successful on-site operations. You'll coordinate people, equipment, transportation, and timelines while helping ensure every event is delivered safely, professionally, and efficiently.

The Production Manager helps oversee the preparation and execution of live events across multiple Greenawalt Hospitality divisions. This is a hands-on operations role that combines event production, logistics, team leadership, and problem-solving in constantly changing environments.

Production Managers are relied upon to keep deployments organized and moving forward. They help coordinate crews, equipment, transportation, schedules, and event requirements while responding to issues as they arise and maintaining a high standard of operational performance.

• Help manage event setup, daily operations, and breakdown of live events and hospitality installations

• Coordinate event-specific schedules, logistics, and deployment requirements

• Work alongside event managers and company leadership to deliver successful event operations

• Confirm that personnel, equipment, and operational requirements are ready before each event begins

• Monitor event activities and respond quickly to changing operational needs

• Organize the movement, transportation, setup, and return of event equipment

• Help prepare trucks, trailers, vehicles, and production equipment for upcoming deployments

• Track company equipment, supplies, inventory, and other operational assets

• Anticipate transportation and logistical issues and work toward practical solutions

• Help ensure equipment and resources arrive where they are needed and when they are needed

• Help direct production crews and hourly event personnel during deployments

• Train, coach, and assist new employees as they learn company processes

• Encourage dependable communication, teamwork, and personal accountability

• Set a strong example for work ethic, professionalism, and customer service

• Help create a productive and respectful environment for team members

• Provide hands-on assistance with hospitality, food and beverage operations, event infrastructure, and other company services

• Operate company vehicles and trailers when properly authorized

• Keep vehicles, equipment, storage areas, and workspaces organized and properly maintained

• Step into different operational functions when business needs require additional support

• Assist other Greenawalt Hospitality divisions during high-volume periods and major deployments

• Follow and reinforce company operating procedures, safety requirements, and workplace standards

• Inspect equipment and work areas and communicate potential safety or maintenance issues

• Maintain a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented approach throughout event deployments

• Complete required records, checklists, inventory information, and other operational documentation accurately

• Help protect company property and ensure equipment is handled responsibly

No two weeks are guaranteed to look the same.

You could be helping prepare a large music festival one week, supporting premium hospitality at a college sporting event the next, and then traveling to another market to help deliver a major special event.

You'll work with an experienced team, visit venues throughout the Southeast and other parts of the country, and contribute directly to events experienced by thousands of people.

• High school diploma required; college coursework or a degree in Hospitality, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline is beneficial

• Experience in event production, hospitality, logistics, operations, construction, project coordination, or a comparable hands-on environment is preferred

• Prior experience supervising employees, crews, or projects is strongly preferred

• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify under the company's vehicle insurance requirements

• Physical ability to load, unload, carry, and reposition equipment as part of normal event operations

• Willingness to work outside and in changing weather conditions

• Excellent organization, communication, follow-through, and problem-solving abilities

• Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, overnight trips, and variable schedules based on event demands

Starting Salary: $45,000 annually

This role involves substantial travel, with approximately 50–120 travel days per year depending on the event calendar and business needs. Travel may include overnight stays as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position is designed for someone who is comfortable with an event-driven schedule rather than a predictable Monday–Friday office routine.
