Description

Endeavor Health Services is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our employees, managers, and HR team across all company locations. This position will manage a variety of HR functions, including payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, HRIS administration, employee relations, leave administration, compliance, and employee programs.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, professional, and able to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and empathy.

What You’ll Do

  • Process biweekly payroll, including employee changes, timekeeping, deductions, reconciliations, and payroll reporting.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy and work with Finance to resolve discrepancies.
  • Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and other company-sponsored programs.
  • Manage benefit billing, employee questions, enrollment changes, and annual open enrollment.
  • Administer FMLA and other applicable leave programs and coordinate with employees and managers throughout the leave process.
  • Serve as the HRIS administrator, maintaining employee data, system access, workflows, reporting, and system updates.
  • Recruit, interview, and coordinate the hiring process for open positions in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate background checks, employment eligibility verification, offers, and new hire onboarding.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and assist with supervisor HR training.
  • Support employee relations, recognition, morale, training, and other HR programs.
  • Respond to employee and manager HR questions and escalate complex or sensitive matters as appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay current on HR best practices, employment law, benefits, and HR technology.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience with payroll processing.
  • Experience with benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, and leave administration.
  • Experience working with an HRIS. UKG experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn HR/payroll systems quickly.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $59,000 – 66,000/year (based on education and experience)
