As an Account Manager, you will serve as a dedicated client partner responsible for the day-to-day management, execution, and success of an assigned client or portfolio of clients. This role maintains close connectivity with the client, owns cross-functional coordination and follow-through, and ensures client priorities are translated into action across Frontier.
Account Managers work in partnership with Directors of Account Management, who maintain broader responsibility for executive relationships, strategic planning, growth, and retention. For larger or more complex accounts, the Account Manager may be primarily dedicated to a single client, developing deep knowledge of the organization, its population, and its evolving needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Support- Serve as the operational contact for assigned client requests.
- Coordinate follow-up on client action items and deliverables.
- Monitor open issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with day-to-day client communications.
- Coordinate implementation and ongoing client projects.
- Track milestones, dependencies, and deadlines.
- Maintain project plans and communicate status updates.
- Partner with internal departments to drive execution.
- Prepare recurring client reports and dashboards.
- Assist with Quarterly Business Review preparation.
- Validate data and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Identify trends and escalate concerns.
- Coordinate activities between Account Management, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Operations.
- Schedule meetings and document action items.
- Ensure internal teams remain aligned on client priorities.
- Maintain CRM records and client documentation.
- Manage recurring deliverables and calendars.
- Track contract milestones, renewals, and implementation tasks.
- Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in self-funded employer healthcare, benefits, project management, client services, and/or account coordination.
- Organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills including experience presenting to leaders
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and project management software (Asana preferred).
- This position requires travel to client/customer locations within an assigned territory, up to 40%
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- Self-funded employer healthcare.
- Third-party administrator (TPA), broker, carrier, or healthcare vendor experience.
- Client-facing healthcare operations.
