The Process Mechanical Design Lead will oversee all process design deliverables ensuring that all deliverables are issued per planned and in compliance on behalf of a biopharma client in Devens, MA. This role is responsible for collaborating with the selected Architect/Engineering firm to direct and drive process design decisions and lead the process workstream throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver process design documentation for Viral Vector and Filling processes in accordance with project plan.
  • Lead the process workstream, working closely with the chosen Architect/Engineering firm to guide design choices and project execution.
  • Facilitate process workstream coordination meetings at a minimum of once per week, ensuring alignment and progress across all stakeholders.
  • Organize and participate in a weekly all-workstream coordination meeting to foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Attend all design meetings with the selected Architect/Engineering firm, representing process requirements and ensuring integration with overall project goals.
  • Establishes and follows an effective and efficient design review process to ensure that the design meets the overall goals and objectives for each project.
  • Monitors project planning and design status to report findings, recommendations, and updates.
  • Provides updates to senior leadership and university on status of projects and milestones.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering.

Certification: Licensed Architect preferred

The salary range for this full-time role is $138,600.00-$194,066.69 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
