LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE in Grantsburg, Wisconsin at Burnett Medical Center Inc

Burnett Medical Center is currently looking for a part-time Clinic LPN to provide phone nurse support.

SHIFT & HOURS:

0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period); includes occasional evenings and rotating Saturdays

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer incoming calls, enter and route messages via Epic to appropriate staff. Prescription Prior Authorizations, medication refills via EHR and faxes. Backup at times to clinical support staff with direct patient care. Rotating weekends including rooming patients, entering information into EHR, assisting providers with minor procedures, administering injections, medications and immunizations.

Graduate of an approved vocational/technical school.

Possesses a current Wisconsin LPN license.

BLS, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Excellent assessment skills, exceptional communication, and teamwork skills.

Epic experience a plus.
