Job Description
Responsibilities include complete housekeeping and laundry functions in assigned areas
including: seasonal house cleaning, doing necessary laundry and floor care to maintain a safe and
clean environment for residents, visitors and staff, seasonal resident wardrobe switchover, etc.
Shift Hours: (Day) 6:00am-2:00pm
Educational req.:
There are no supervisory responsibilities with this position.
Prefer candidate with high school diploma or GED
Individual must also be able to: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals; Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure;
Carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
Work Experience:
Experience related to housekeeping and laundry preferred but not required.
Physical Req.: This job regularly requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, talking, and hearing; frequent use of fingers, hands, simple grasping and fine manipulation; frequent lifting, moving, pulling, and /or pushing up to 50 lbs. Will constantly be required to stand and walk. Also must be able to remove soiled linens from a 42? deep container. Working Conditions: Noise level in work environment is usually moderate. May involve exposure to body fluids and/or chemicals. Could occasionally be exposed to behavior issues with residents which could result in an unsafe environment. May be exposed to explicit language or gestures by residents. May be exposed to inclement weather, dust/dirt, and potential chemical hazards Pay: From $15.00 per hour Benefits:
