This role is responsible for driving strategic growth across foodservice and vending channels within a defined northern U.S. region. The position focuses on expanding distributor relationships, strengthening broker networks, and accelerating new account acquisition in a highly competitive CPG environment. It combines field-based execution with strategic planning, requiring a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. The role partners closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure alignment and performance delivery. It also involves frequent travel and hands-on engagement with key accounts and distributors. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, brings strong commercial acumen, and is passionate about building long-term customer relationships and market share growth.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across foodservice and vending channels to drive regional growth and market penetration
- Manage and optimize broker networks and distributor relationships to expand sales volume and strengthen channel performance
- Identify new business opportunities and support acquisition of regional and national foodservice accounts
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, pricing structures, and product performance to inform strategic recommendations
- Coordinate pricing programs, incentives, and promotional initiatives to support revenue growth and customer engagement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to execute integrated commercial strategies
- Deliver product presentations and support customer education to enhance adoption and brand visibility
- Monitor business performance using analytics tools and provide reporting on sales, budgets, and variances
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CPG foodservice sales, ideally within non-commercial or institutional channels
- Proven experience working with national and regional distributors and accounts in the foodservice industry
- Strong understanding of broker management, channel strategy, and field sales execution
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into action
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to travel approximately 60% and work a flexible schedule as needed
