Brand Manager, Channel Development

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Brand Manager, Channel Development based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, commercial execution, and channel growth, with a strong focus on driving performance across club retail, alternative channels, and ecommerce. You will be responsible for shaping how the brand shows up in high-impact retail environments while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. The position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can move seamlessly between long-term brand building and day-to-day commercial decisions. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Innovation, and Creative teams to bring channel-specific strategies to life. This is a highly collaborative and fast-moving environment where agility, ownership, and commercial thinking are essential. Your work will directly influence revenue growth, brand equity, and customer engagement across key retail partners.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and execute channel-specific brand strategies across club, alternative retail, and ecommerce, ensuring alignment with broader brand and business goals.
  • Lead development and execution of marketing plans that drive trial, repeat purchase, and loyalty among club shoppers.
  • Manage innovation, renovation, and packaging strategies tailored to club formats, seasonal needs, and ecommerce requirements.
  • Oversee P&L performance for assigned SKUs, partnering with Finance on forecasting, margin management, and trade strategy.
  • Analyze performance data, shopper insights, and competitive activity to inform commercial and marketing decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional execution of product launches, seasonal programs, and in-market initiatives with Sales, Operations, and Demand Planning.
  • Partner with Creative and Shopper Marketing teams to ensure strong, on-brand execution across packaging and retail touchpoints.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management within the CPG industry, ideally with exposure to club retail or high-volume retail channels.
  • Strong understanding of club channel dynamics including pricing, packaging formats, rotation cycles, and margin structures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with P&L ownership, forecasting, and commercial performance tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate POS data, shopper insights, and market trends into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms such as Slack and Monday.com.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
