Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoice / Payroll Clerk to join our remote team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining payroll records, ensuring accurate employee compensation, and supporting accounting operations while working from home.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and process invoices for payment.
- Verify invoice details, purchase orders, and payment terms.
- Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and employee compensation data.
- Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, commissions, and bonuses.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
- Reconcile payroll reports and financial records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and financial information.
- Generate payroll, invoice, and financial reports as required.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in payroll, bookkeeping, invoicing, or accounting support preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with payroll and accounting software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations.
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks Payroll.
- Data entry and recordkeeping expertise.
- Problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Fully remote position.
