This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Security Operations Center, Manager based in United States.
This leadership role is responsible for transforming and elevating a global security operations center into a high-performing, data-driven, and technology-enabled function. The position plays a critical part in strengthening enterprise risk visibility, incident response, and operational resilience across a 24/7 global environment. You will drive standardization of processes, embedding KPIs, SOPs, and continuous improvement practices while integrating advanced technologies such as AI, automation, and threat intelligence platforms. Working within a complex, matrixed global organization, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and crisis management teams to ensure seamless security operations. This is a high-impact role where operational excellence, innovation, and leadership converge to protect people, assets, and global business continuity.
- Lead the transformation and optimization of global GSOC operations into a high-performing, metrics-driven function
- Develop and implement operational excellence roadmaps aligned with enterprise risk and resilience strategies
- Define, standardize, and enforce global SOPs, KPIs, and process control frameworks
- Oversee 24/7 global monitoring, incident detection, triage, escalation, and response coordination
- Manage third-party vendors and MSSP relationships to ensure service quality and operational alignment
- Integrate physical and cyber threat intelligence systems to strengthen situational awareness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies
- Lead operational reviews (daily/weekly/monthly) and performance reporting across GSOC functions
- Build and develop a high-performing GSOC team while driving a culture of innovation and accountability
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to support technology roadmaps and security transformation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Operations, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in security operations, GSOC, risk, or command center environments
- Experience in large, matrixed global organizations with distributed teams
- Background in law enforcement, emergency management, defense, or public safety (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of incident management, threat intelligence, and global security monitoring
- Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving operational change
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills under pressure
- Certifications such as CPP, PCI, APP, or PSP are a plus
