Healthcare Apprentice in Goshen, Indiana at Goshen Health

This role provides basic clinical supportive care and assists with the activities of daily living for patients on the Unit of Practice consistent with the mission, vision and values of Goshen Health. Interacts with the patients, providing care as identified in the care plan and as directed by the RN/clinical practitioner. Maintains a clean and orderly environment. Works under the direct supervision of a clinical practitioner. Uses independent judgment to prioritize own work and report observations and information to appropriate personnel.

• Acknowledge and actively participate in the mission, vision and values of Goshen Health and the Unit of Practice.
• Provide age specific patient care specific to the unit of practice.
• Practice customer service at all times.
• Appropriately delegate to other staff in providing patient care.
• Assist with patient treatments and collects patient data as directed by clinical practitioner.
