Job Overview

As a Tax Intern, you would become an integral member of our tax practice, interacting with all members of the team, and attending all office meetings and functions. You would be applying your education along with in-house training to a variety of on-the-job experiences while being introduced to specific tax and accounting software programs and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gather information and work within tax software to prepare various returns for review
  • Conduct online research
  • Organize workpapers

Qualifications

Education/Licensing

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Accounting, or other relevant field, from an accredited university required
  • Actively pursuing necessary education credits to become a CPA

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to prepare basic tax returns
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamwork oriented with a willingness to grow, a passion for living, and desire to go above and beyond

Software

  • Microsoft Office Suite experience
