Lead Rest Area Worker at Tresco, Inc. – Truth or Consequences, New Mexico

💲 Pay Rate: $15.75/hour | ⏰ Hours: 35 per week

Are you dependable, take pride in your work, and enjoy working outdoors? Join our dedicated team as a Rest Area Maintenance Worker and help us keep New Mexico’s rest areas clean, safe, and welcoming for travelers!

In this role, you'll perform janitorial and groundskeeping duties, help maintain public facilities and support a mission-driven organization committed to excellence and inclusion.

• Clean and maintain restrooms, buildings, and surrounding grounds

• Restock soap, toilet paper, and paper towels

• Ensure public areas are safe, clean, and inviting

• Assist travelers when needed with professionalism and courtesy

• Report any repair or maintenance needs promptly

• Collaborate and communicate openly with your supervisor and team

• Participate in special projects and team meetings

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Valid driver’s license

• Background check and motor vehicle record check required

• Ability to follow directions, work independently and in a team

• Friendly, dependable, and eager to help

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and basic computer knowledge

• Knowledge of basic building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical)

• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Bilingual abilities are a bonus!
