LVN Ambulatory PRN at University Health System- San Antonio – San Antonio, Texas

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the ambulatory and hospital settings.
Clinics are located throughout San Antonio, including Boerne, TX.
Specialties range from preventative health to transplant services.
Newly-hired experienced LVNs in the hospital and clinic participate in our Nursing Orientation for Clinical Excellence (NOCE) program

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
At least one year of experience in direct patient care is preferred. Current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and Healthcare Provider card required. ACLS certification may be required based on site location. Various certifications may be required based on the location.

LICENSURE
Must possess a current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
