We’re looking for a Commercial Low-Slope Roofing Superintendent to oversee and manage roofing projects in the Pompano Beach area. This role is essential to ensuring safety, crew management, and top-tier quality control across all projects.

✅ Crew Leadership & Management

• Supervise and lead roofing crews, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
• Assign tasks based on crew skills and project needs.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and training.
• Promote teamwork and a positive work culture.

✅ Quality Control & Inspections

• Ensure all roofing installations meet or exceed industry and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain records of project progress and quality measures.

✅ Safety & Compliance

• Enforce strict safety protocols in line with OSHA regulations.
• Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Perform site inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents.

✅ Project Scheduling & Logistics

• Create and maintain a 2-week look-ahead schedule.
• Coordinate material deliveries and verify receipt.
• Manage inspection processes and ensure compliance.

✅ Client Relations & Customer Service

• Maintain regular contact with clients, project supervisors, and field personnel.
• Ensure all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.

✅ Payroll & Budget Management

• Approve completed work for payroll processing.
• Keep job materials and labor costs within budget.
• Maintain accurate documentation of job costing.

✅ Availability & On-Call Responsibilities

• Work standard hours Monday - Friday, 6 AM - Close.
• On-call rotation for weekends & emergencies (1x every 3-6 weeks).

🔹 Experience: 2-3 years as a Superintendent in commercial and residential roofing.
🔹 Roofing Knowledge: Familiar with BUR, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Tile, and Sheet Metal systems.
🔹 Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot roof leaks and manage repairs.
🔹 Leadership & Communication: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to train teams.
🔹 Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred.
🔹 Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word for reporting.
🔹 Certifications: OSHA 30 (or ability to complete within 90 days).
🔹 Valid Florida Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record.
🔹 Physical Ability: Lift 50 lbs and perform on-site inspections.
