Job Description

Position Title - HEALTHCARE PROJECT MANAGER/ Senior Specialist
Position Type- Contract
Duration- Long Term
Interview Type- Web Cam
Country- USA
Work Location- Raleigh, NC
Work Preference- Remote

1. Role Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project leadership and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong background in Health IT, health services, and health policy
  • Experience working with clinical data (preferably in Health Information Exchange - HIE)
  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor oversight, and contract negotiation
  • Ability to define and implement KPIs and continuous quality improvement processes
  • Familiarity with federal funding compliance and CMS program requirements
  • Ability to work independently and lead complex initiatives
  • Willingness to travel within North Carolina or nationally (monthly)
  • Preferred: Candidates based in Research Triangle, NC area
  • Advanced education or deep industry experience preferred

2. Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding efforts for eligible rural healthcare providers
  • Oversee personnel and technical vendor support activities
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define KPIs and improvement strategies
  • Provide guidance and leadership on development platforms, architectures, and business applications
  • Support application lifecycle activities including:
    • Analysis
    • Design
    • Development
    • Testing
    • Implementation
    • Maintenance & production support
  • Contribute to technical and user documentation
  • Drive software upgrades, conversions, and system improvements
  • Ensure alignment with healthcare policies and regulatory standards
  • Manage cross-agency coordination and communication
