This role sits at the intersection of finance systems, business analysis, and enterprise IT, supporting critical Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications within a global diagnostics and life sciences environment. You will act as a key bridge between finance stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure the stability, enhancement, and evolution of finance-related systems. The position involves analyzing complex business requirements, translating them into scalable system solutions, and ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery across the application lifecycle. You will work on high-impact financial systems that support global operations, requiring strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. This is a senior role where your expertise will directly influence financial process efficiency, system performance, and business decision-making capabilities.
- Collaborate with business users to identify, define, and analyse financial system requirements and translate them into effective Oracle EBS solutions.
- Gather, document, and manage functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle, including change management processes.
- Design and support business processes and system configurations within Oracle EBS Finance modules to meet evolving business needs.
- Work on complex system and data-related issues, performing in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution in collaboration with technical teams and vendors.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to report, track, and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.
- Support maintenance and enhancement of Oracle EBS R12.2+ and related finance sub-systems, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Ensure effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, acting as a key liaison for finance system initiatives.
- Contribute to system improvements, upgrades, and potential Oracle Cloud ERP transition initiatives where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience in business analysis or financial systems.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS R12.2+ Finance modules and related sub-systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role in enterprise IT or finance systems environments.
- Strong techno-functional expertise in finance systems (approximately 80% functional and 20% technical exposure preferred).
- Experience working with Oracle EBS Finance modules and familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP (Finance) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex system and data issues.
- Experience in stakeholder management, requirement gathering, and functional documentation across enterprise projects.
- Ability to work with external vendors and manage issue resolution end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- PMP certification or equivalent is considered a strong advantage.
