Description:

Progressive Directions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Early Intervention Evaluation Coordinator to support our Early Intervention Services team. This role ensures that evaluations for the Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with all state and agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities: The Early Intervention Evaluation Coordinator will:

  • Coordinate and monitor the timely completion of TEIS intake and eligibility evaluations
  • Distribute evaluation referrals to appropriate staff
  • Train, support, and supervise Early Intervention evaluators
  • Complete evaluations as needed when referral volume increases
  • Administer and interpret developmental screening and assessment tools
  • Prepare developmental assessment summaries within required timelines
  • Support IFSP development using assessment information
  • Document required information in TEIDS according to DDA requirements
  • Attend state meetings and communicate updates to staff
  • Ensure services are delivered professionally, timely, and in compliance with agency and state expectations

Work Expectations:

  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs as needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a qualifying field (Early Childhood, Special Education, Therapy disciplines, or related)
  • OR related degree (social work, psychology, etc.) with at least 1 year of experience working with the birth–to–5 population
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to meet strict timelines and compliance standards

Required for Employment

  • Valid, non-restricted driver’s license
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) (will be reviewed)
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Successful completion of a drug screening
  • Must meet all Department of Education and DDA certification requirements
