Position Overview
The Site Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring ETC Florida projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This position bridges the field and the office — overseeing daily on-site activities, coordinating between technicians, subcontractors, and builders, and ensuring the client experience remains seamless from start to finish.
You’ll be responsible for managing multiple residential automation and AV projects — often in luxury homes under construction — and maintaining clear communication among all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight
- Supervise on-site installation teams and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Manage project timelines, schedules, and resources from pre-wire to final commissioning.
- Coordinate with general contractors, electricians, designers, and other trades.
- Conduct regular site visits and meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues proactively.
Technical & Quality Control
- Review plans, schematics, and wiring diagrams for accuracy before installation.
- Verify all systems (AV, lighting, shades, networking, control systems, etc.) are installed by design and manufacturer specs.
- Perform quality checks during each project phase to ensure ETC Florida standards are met.
Client & Team Communication
- Serve as the main on-site point of contact for clients, builders, and internal staff.
- Provide project updates and status reports to management and clients.
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation, change orders, and completion reports.
- Track materials and equipment used on site; coordinate delivery schedules.
- Support post-installation service and system handoff processes.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience managing or supervising projects in construction, AV integration, electrical, or related trades.
- Strong understanding of wiring, infrastructure, and system installation processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills — verbal, written, and digital.
- Proven ability to coordinate with multiple trades and maintain professional relationships on luxury job sites.
- Proficiency with project management tools, digital drawings, and basic computer software (Google Workspace, MS Office, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
- Experience with Crestron, Lutron, Control4, Savant, or similar smart home technologies.
- Knowledge of home networking, low-voltage systems, and control integration.
- Experience in luxury residential or high-end custom projects.
