About the Role:

The Plant Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of industrial plant equipment, including turbines, compressors, boilers, and pumps. This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling plant systems to optimize performance while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. The operator will manage water treatment processes and refinery operations to maintain product quality and operational standards. A key outcome of this role is to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures through vigilant observation and timely intervention. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating industrial plant equipment such as turbines, compressors, boilers, and pumps.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes and refinery operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and safety regulations.
• Physical ability to wear personal protective equipment and perform duties in an industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or associate degree in industrial technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with gas turbine operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with computerized control systems and plant monitoring software.
• Training in occupational health and safety standards specific to industrial plants.
• Previous experience working in a refinery or similar industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the operation of turbines, compressors, boilers, pumps, and gas turbines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform balancing procedures to maintain equipment efficiency and prevent mechanical failures.
• Manage water treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental standards and support refinery processes.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of plant operations, including any anomalies or maintenance needs.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and adhere strictly to safety protocols to minimize risk.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations to mitigate risks and restore normal operations.
