About This Position
LB Steak is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Floor Manager to join our leadership team. This role is the entry point into salaried management at Vine Hospitality and is designed for a hospitality professional ready to step into ownership, lead from the floor, and grow into broader operational responsibilities.
This is a floor-first leadership role. You will be the most visible manager during service, setting the tone through your professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail while supporting daily operations and team performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Service Leadership & Guest Experience
• Lead the floor during service and ensure a seamless guest experience
• Set the tone for hospitality through professionalism and presence
• Resolve guest concerns and elevate service standards
• Run pre-shift meetings and align team on priorities
• Partner with kitchen and bar for smooth execution
Team Leadership & Development
• Supervise and coach FOH team during service
• Support onboarding and training of new hires
• Reinforce accountability and service standards
• Provide feedback and support performance conversations
Operations & Execution
• Support scheduling and labor management
• Monitor labor and adjust staffing during service
• Ensure daily operational readiness and cleanliness
• Assist with inventory and beverage operations
• Complete opening and closing duties
Systems & Performance
• Use systems like Toast, SpotOn, OpenTable, and Asana
• Utilize Google Workspace for communication and reporting
• Support consistency through systems and processes
Product & Beverage Knowledge
• Maintain strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails
• Guide guest experience and support upselling
• Participate in ongoing training and tastings
WHAT YOU BRING
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume, upscale or fine-dining restaurant
• Proven ability to lead a team during busy service
• Strong ownership mindset and proactive approach
• Experience with restaurant systems (Toast, SpotOn preferred)
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Solid food and wine knowledge preferred
• Professional presence and passion for hospitality
• High emotional intelligence and leadership ability
• Experience with labor management and cost awareness preferred
REQUIREMENTS
• RBS Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Food Handler Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
• Full-time, exempt role
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Majority of time spent on the floor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 40 lbs
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• $80,000 – $85,000 base salary
