Part Time Leasing Agent at JSM Living – Champaign, Illinois

JSM Living is a local property management company looking for a part-time Leasing Agent to support our Residential leasing operations. If you enjoy working on a team in a customer-centered environment, this may be the position for you!

What you’ll do

• Provide courteous and professional service to residents and visitors, including greeting them in the office, answering phone calls and emails, and booking tour appointments.
• Conduct daily leasing activities, such as responding to new leads, conducting property/unit tours for potential residents, following up with prospects, and generating lease paperwork.
• Prepare marketing materials for touring, move-in day materials for incoming residents, etc.
• Assist with all Resident event activities, including planning, prep, and executing resident events
• Drive company vehicles as needed for property tours and other job-related tasks; must have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required
• Must be able to work during the summer and on breaks when the University of Illinois is not in session
• Required to work 2 Saturdays a month
• Ideal candidates will be able to work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously

The hourly rate for this position is $16 an hour. In addition to a base hourly rate of pay, our Leasing Agents can earn supplemental compensation in the form of commissions and incentives.
