Job Description

This is a part-time teaching position which is appointed on a per-semester basis. There is an opportunity for renewal each semester and year.

Essential Functions:

  • Teach up to six credits per semester of: graduate-level courses under the umbrella of Healthcare Administration classes, covering topics such as: Legal Health Care Admin, Management & Marketing in Health Care, Medical Ethics in Health Care, and Health Care Finance.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the healthcare administration field, including current industry practices and trends.
  • Manage online grading system and submit grades in a timely fashion.
  • Abide by all relevant university and/or department procedures and policies.
  • Integrate the core values of respect, integrity, justice, compassion, and service in all aspects of interaction

    • Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in healthcare administration or related field. Candidates with terminal degrees will be given preference.
  • Demonstrated successful teaching experience at the graduate level is preferred.
  • Ability to teach in lecture, hybrid, and online formats.
  • Experience using learning management systems, such as Blackboard.
  • Must be available for online and/or in-person classes, in Lakewood, NJ, on Saturdays.

    • Salary Details $1085 per credit per course
