You will work closely with diverse businesses to understand their accounting and control frameworks, assess risks, and ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with regulatory standards. - Understand client businesses, including their operations, accounting systems, internal controls, and industry-specific regulatory requirements (GAAP/GAAS).
- Assess financial and operational risks while evaluating the effectiveness of internal control structures.
- Perform substantive testing and internal control testing to identify accounting, reporting, or compliance issues.
- Prepare and support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with prescribed formats and standards.
- Apply and support audit automation tools and ERP systems in delivering efficient engagement outcomes.
- Collaborate with client teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve reporting accuracy.
- Completion of at least 90+ credit hours toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CFA, or CIMA (passed or in progress as required).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards (GAAP/GAAS), and financial reporting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk and interpret financial data accurately.
- Familiarity with accounting systems, ERP tools, and audit methodologies is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
