Job Title: Temporary Graphic Designer Support Specialist

Duration & Schedule

• Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 21, 2026
• Hours: 21 hours/week (3 days/week, 7 hours/day)
• Total Hours: Up to 252 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Design monthly ADA-compliant employee newsletters using Adobe InDesign
• Create event flyers and outreach materials from templates
• Produce a variety of graphic materials, including:
  • Posters, brochures, invitations, programs
  • PowerPoint presentations, guides, fact sheets
• Provide video recording and editing support (Adobe Premiere Pro)
• Submit publications and reports to official government portals
• Coordinate document translations with vendors
• Work with vendors on promotional items and production

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic/fine arts + 1 year experience or High school diploma + technical training + 3 years experience

Preferred Skills

• Strong portfolio showing creativity and visual communication
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator required)
• Experience with ADA-compliant documents
• Knowledge of:
  • Adobe After Effects (plus)
  • Basic HTML (plus)
• Strong organization, communication, and ability to meet deadlines

Other Requirements

• Portfolio submission required
• Background check (FBI + NY State)
• Must meet insurance requirements
• Selection via interview with Deputy Commissioner
