Job Title: Marketing Campaign Coordinator

Department: Sales Marketing

Reports To: SVP Marketing & Demand Generation

FLSA Status: Exempt

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid flexibility)

Travel Required: Yes – limited regional and national travel for events (estimated 10–20%)

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Marketing Campaign Coordinator to join our San Diego-based team. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented role for someone with 2–3 years of marketing or events experience who wants to build their career at the intersection of enterprise technology and one of the most dynamic markets in the industry.

You will be the primary support for our San Diego Showcase — a dedicated customer experience venue where prospective customers, partners, and industry influencers come to see DDC's technology firsthand. Beyond the Showcase, you'll contribute to digital programs, industry events, and integrated marketing campaigns as part of a lean, high-impact marketing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Showcase Operations — Primary Focus

  • Coordinate and manage all logistics for customer and prospect visits to the DDC San Diego Showcase, from initial scheduling through post-visit follow-up.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact during Showcase events — ensuring the space is prepared, materials are current, and the experience reflects the DDC brand.
  • Partner with the sales team to tailor visit agendas based on the specific account, audience, and business objective.
  • Track visit activity, gather feedback, and maintain records to help measure the Showcase's contribution to pipeline.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Support the planning and execution of regional and national industry events, including trade shows, customer roundtables, and sponsored programs.
  • Coordinate logistics for DDC participation at third-party events: booth setup, staffing schedules, materials, shipping, and on-site execution.
  • Assist with pre- and post-event communications, including invitations, briefing documents, and follow-up sequences for the sales team.
  • May coordinate the work of vendors, agencies, or event partners and provide functional guidance as needed.

Campaign & Marketing Program Support

  • Support ongoing digital and content marketing programs including email campaigns, LinkedIn content, and newsletter production.
  • Help manage content assets — datasheets, case studies, slide decks — ensuring materials are organized, current, and accessible to the sales team.
  • Assist with vendor and agency coordination for design, print, and digital deliverables.
  • Track campaign and event performance metrics and contribute to regular report

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience

2–3 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing coordination, events, customer experience, or a related B2B function.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication — you'll interact directly with customers and executive stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where programs evolve and priorities shift.
  • Proficiency with standard marketing and productivity tools (Microsoft Office / SharePoint, email platforms, CRM basics).
  • A genuine interest in technology — you don't need to know what a CDU1500 is on day one, but you should be curious enough to learn quickly.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the San Diego area; regular on-site presence at the Showcase is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting B2B technology or enterprise-focused marketing programs.
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar tools).
  • Exposure to event production, trade shows, or customer experience environments.
  • Interest in or exposure to data center, infrastructure, or technology-related industries.

Core Competencies

  • Customer Focus: Delivers a high-quality customer and prospect experience that reflects the DDC Solutions brand.
  • Accountability & Ownership: Takes responsibility for outcomes, follows through on commitments, and manages work independently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional partners to achieve shared objectives.
  • Integrity & Compliance: Acts ethically and in alignment with company policies, standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Understands how marketing programs and customer experiences support broader business and growth objectives.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with regular on-site presence at the San Diego Showcase.
  • May require standing, walking, or light lifting during events and customer visits.
  • Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
