POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control/Material Handling Supervisor is responsible for ensuring adequate levels of materials and product inventories are maintained in the Distribution Center. Responsible for evaluating inventory needs and implementing strategies to meet those needs. This position supervises and coordinates the daily workload of the Inventory Control/Material Handlers to ensure inventory is appropriately counted, tracked, stored and allocated to meet production/distribution needs.

· Responsible for analyzing inventory levels, production speed and product demand to ensure product availability and effective material movement throughout the Distribution Center (DC).
· Supervises the daily activities of the Inventory Control/Material Handlers.
· Responsible for ensuring materials are being appropriately tracked, stored and distributed in the Distribution Center (DC).
· Ensuring that all inventory is counted at the minimum on an annual basis.
· Responsible for ensuring the Inventory Control/Materials Handling team meets or exceeds goals, KPIs and related LEAN objectives.
· Latitude Superuser.
· Analyze and correct Latitude/SAGE discrepancies.
· Hold employees accountable for productivity, quality and safety.
· Responsible for formalizing, documenting and maintaining a cycle count process for all inventory.
· Research and provide explanation for large quantity or money adjustments.
· Actively participates in planning, counting, and reconciling cycle counts.
· Process improvement focus.
· Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of three to five years’ related experience in a Distribution Center or Warehouse.
- Minimum of three to five years of inventory Control experience.
- High School Diploma required: Associate degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Sage or similar supply chain system required.
- Supervisory experience and ability to make effective timely decisions required.
- Analytical ability, supervisory skills, organization and effective communication skills required.
- WMS experience required
- Forklift Certified- Required.
- Knowledge in Hazmat/Dangerous Goods preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Proficient with MicroSoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- ERP Purchasing module; Sage preferred.
- Ability to leverage technology for continuous improvement and operations effectiveness.

This job operates in warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office and warehouse equipment.
