QUALIFICATIONS

• The Host Home Coordinator must be at least 18 years of age, high school graduate/GED
• Reliability, kindness, compassion, patience, and a positive role model
• Proficient with online client documentation and reporting
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to travel to Saint Charles County and Saint Louis County
• 1-year Full Time equivalent work experience in service delivery to individuals with developmental disabilities. (May be substituted with service delivery to individuals in a hospital or nursing home setting.)
• Driver’s License, car insurance and reliable transportation for every shift is required (mileage is reimbursed at 67 cents per mile)

CORE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Visit host homes monthly to make sure all needs are being met for individuals with disabilities.
• Flexible hours and schedules
• Knowledge of best practices in assisting clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities to complete daily life activities including personal care, household chores, shopping, and recreational and social activities.
• Assure all client's doctors’ appointments are scheduled and attended.
• Assure all documentation is current in the client's books are kept updated.
• Monitor client's spending and maintain accurate ledgers ensuring all bills are paid in a timely fashion.
