What You Will Do
  • Provide high-quality instruction in a designated foreign language while supporting students' academic readiness for post-secondary education.
  • Helping students strengthen their language proficiency, cultural understanding, and communication skills, which are essential for college success.
  • Supports students as they navigate academic, social, and personal challenges by collaborating with program staff, reinforcing study skills, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with general academic support as needed to help ensure students are fully prepared for the demands of college-level coursework.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
-Demonstrate Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Abilities
-Genuine Commitment to Working with Educational Programs That Serve Disadvantaged Youth, Particularly Low-Income and First-Generation High School Students
-Proficiency in Microsoft Software Applications
-Valid Teaching Certification
-Proficiency in the Foreign Language You Will Be Instructing
