Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

What you bring to the table:

  • Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields
  • Proficient understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards
  • Ability to communication effectively with the customer and our vendors
  • Self-Starter, hands on leader to for prototype efforts
  • Understanding of Server Management, OS configuration, remote connections
  • Knowledge of Switches; physical connectivity, and logical configurations
  • Router configurations including IP Tables and subnets
  • Network Testers
    o STE: Viavi T-BERD
    o Configuration and Operation
  • Fiber optic transceivers use and configuration
  • Timing Distribution: 10Mhz, 1PPS, NTP/PTP
  • Network Protocol (UDP, TCP, Layer 2, Vita 49)
  • Internet and Optical Physical Layers

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $106,477.00 - USD $115,212.00 /Yr.
